Dust storm warning issued in K-P

Highest temperature was recorded in DI Khan at 42 degree centigrade

PESHAWAR: Local authorities have sent weather warnings following forecast of dust storm by Met Office.

According to forecast, mainly partly cloudy weather is expected in most parts of the province, however, thunderstorm-rain associated with gusty winds is expected at isolated in districts of Abbottabad, Haripur, Mansehra, Kohistan, Battagram, Torghar, Chitral, Upper Dir, Lower Dir, Swat, Shangla, Bunner, Malakand, Bajaur, Mardan, Swabi, Peshawar, Nowshera, Charsadda, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, Kohat, Hangu, Karak, Kurram, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, North Waziristan, D.I.khan, Tank and South Waziristan.

The rest of K-P remains in grip of high temperatures. Highest temperature was recorded in DI Khan at 42 degree centigrade on Thursday. Published in The Express Tribune, May 10th, 2019.
