The government has approved to form Murree, Kotli Sattian, Kahuta and Kalar Syedan Development Authority  (MKKKDA). The authority would be made operational after funds would be allocated for it in next budget. The government reached this decision on recommendations of elected representatives from these Tehsils including Sadaqat Abbasi, Latasab Satti and Raja Sagheer. The authority would monitor the development of projects in the areas after becoming operational. Murree Kahuta Development Authority (MKDA) had already existed however it was abolished after municipal system enforced by ex-President Pervaiz Musharraf. The working for appointing a chairman and other officials of new authority has also begun.
