Three die as roof collapses in Charsadda

Funeral held for four members of a family

CHARSADDA: The whole community of Sheikhano Bari Band village in Tangi Tehsil of Charsadda was saddened when four funerals were held for the same home.

Muhammad Ibrahim works as a labourer in Saudi Arabia. On Monday night, his wife Aisha Bibi, one-year-old son Muhammad Ismail, three year old daughter Imama and six-year-old Salma were sleeping in their house when the roof came falling on them.

Aisha, Ismail and Salma died under the weight if the ruble, however, Imama survived her injuries. Ibrahim’s mother Taj Bibi watching the devastation of her family could not bear the grief and died of heart attack.
