PTI to fulfil promises made to people: Mehmoodur Rasheed
Says inauguration of project for low-income families under NPHP important step towards fulfilling promises

Punjab Minister for Housing Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed has said the inauguration of residential project for low-income families in Renala Khurd, Okara under Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP) was an important step towards fulfilling of the promises made to the people.
In his statement issued on Sunday, he said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government with the grace of Allah Almighty would fulfill all its promises made to the people. He regretted that the past governments had deceived the people in the name of “roti, kapra aur makan and Ashiana housing scheme” but did nothing in this regard.
"Naya Pakistan Housing scheme is an important step towards achieving the goal of a welfare state and its scope will be expanded to rural areas in the next phase."
He said the government had taken all stakeholders on board with regard to NPHP and decisions were being made with the consultation.
