If you take screenshots of your private WhatsApp chats often then you may not be able to do that soon. Reportedly, the messaging service is working on an update that will stop users from being able to take screenshots.

But as a result of this feature, the ability to take screenshots will also be blocked. The alert on the feature states ‘When enabled, fingerprint is required to open WhatsApp and conversation screenshots are blocked. You can still reply to messages from notifications and answer calls if WhatsApp is locked.’
