Good Friday, Easter security reviewed

Rawalpindi City Police Officer Abbas Ahsan says all arrangements have been finalised

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi City Police Officer (CPO) Abbas Ahsan has said that the security arrangements for Good Friday and Easter have been finalised.

During a meeting with a delegation of the Christian community held to review the overall security situation of the city during the upcoming Good Friday and Easter. The delegation led by the Grace of God Church Ministry Chairman Pastor Adil Meseh Gil comprised of other pastors including Javed Gil, Samson Bhatti, Danish Bhatti and others.

The head of the delegation thanked the CPO for arranging the meeting and said that the Christian community would keep up their cooperation with the police and district administration. He appreciated the efforts of the city police for the security of the holy events.

After the meeting, the CPO cut cake with the pastors.
