Police, Rangers arrest 10 suspects in raids

Armed forces carry out raids against criminal elements in Saudabad, Awami Colony and Korangi Industrial Area

KARACHI: Sindh Rangers and police claimed to have arrested 10 suspects on Saturday during raids in different parts of the city.

According to Rangers’ spokesperson, the paramilitary forces carried out raids against criminal elements in Saudabad, Awami Colony and Korangi Industrial Area and nabbed nine suspects. Rangers claimed weapons and stolen goods were recovered from the possession of the detainees. Central SSP said a police team apprehended a suspect, Asif Baloch.

According to the SSP, Baloch was involved in murders, extortion, kidnapping and other heinous criminal activities. “Asif also murdered Amjad Baloch and his father with help of his fellow gangsters,” said the SSP.
