ISLAMABAD:
In order to prevent accidents and loss to life and property the Islamabad Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat Wednesday announced that the use of fireworks and crackers would remain banned on Shab-e-Barat.

Speaking to the media , he said strict action would be taken against violators.He said the use of fireworks and its business within the jurisdictional limits of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) was prohibited and non compliance would result in arrest under section 188 of Pakistan Penal Code.


Citizens were of the view that fireworks could have dangerous consequences.
