FC vows to continue anti-terror operation
Paramilitary force’s IG lauds administration’s effort to maintain peace in Chaman
QUETTA:
Balochistan Frontier Corps (FC) Inspector General Maj Gen Fayaz Hussain Shah on Wednesday said people of Balochistan and security forces stand shoulder to shoulder against all terrorists, who are trying to disturb peace and ‘our action’ against the menace of terrorism would continue.
Addressing concluding ceremony of a sports festival held at Chaman, Shah said the paramilitary force provided a healthy opportunity to the people of the border town by organising a sports festival.
“The purpose of youth festivals in Pishin, Zhob, Chaman, Qilla Saifullah and Loralai was to foster entertainment and healthy activities in Balochistan because such activities refresh minds of our people,” the IG said.
FC IG lauds tribal people’s support
Laying stress on education, Shah said without education “we can’t compete with the developed countries. We must have to educate our children because they will hold the reins of the country.”
He lauded efforts of Chaman Scouts and the district administration for maintaining peace in the town and said the FC has been making utmost efforts to maintain peace in Balochistan,
“Unity is the only weapon to defeat our enemies because they have been attempting to deepen divisions among all nations living in the country,” he added.
Tribal elders, district administration, traders, the FC officials and students participated in the concluding ceremony. The IGFC and tribal elders – Abdul Khaliq Achakzai and Molvi Hanif – distributed cash prizes among players.
