Humayun Saeed opens up about not receiving LSA nomination

'Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2' actor took to Twitter to share his sentiments

The Lux Style Awards nominations were announced a couple of days ago and since then, there seems to have been various 'issues' that have emerged. One of those include actor Humayun Saeed not being nominated.

Now, that came as a surprise to both fans and insiders alike. Nonetheless, the Punjab Nahin Jaungi star didn't let this get to him. He took to Twitter to open up about the situation.

"Congratulations meray motoo (my fatty)!" He began, directing this comment at Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 co-star Ahmad Ali Butt. He continued, "Some people are questioning why I wasn’t nominated but I don’t find anything wrong with the LSA nominations. As far as JPNA2 is concerned, no one else deserved the Best Actor nomination other than Ahmad. I hope you go on to win it!"

We don't sense any jealousy at all. In fact, Humayun couldn't have been any more supportive than this. However, his followers still expressed disappointment. "Butt sahab congratulations, but Humayun Saed bhai ki koi nomination nai ayi... (Humayun Saeed didn't get a nomination)," wrote one user while another stated, "This is so unfair. Humayun ki nomination honi chahiye thi (Humayun should have received a nomination).

Responding to Humayun's tweet, Ahmad responded with a comical message, "Love you like Mehwish Hayat loved you in Punjab Nahi Jaungi. You're always my hero."
