RAWALPINDI:
The Young Doctors Association (YDA) in Rawalpindi will completely boycott the outpatient department (OPD) at the Benazir Bhutto General Hospital (BBH) on Friday (today) after their demands were not met.

In the next phase of their protest, YDA members will boycott duties at the OPD of the Holy Family Hospital and District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ). YDA officials have announced that if their demands are not met, in the third phase they will expand the radius of their OPD boycott to across Punjab.


The association’s Punjab Chairman Dr Shoaib Tarrar and the heads of YDA chapters at the three allied hospitals of Rawalpindi including YDA BBH President Dr Rana Muhammad Azeem, YDA HFH President Dr Ashfaq Niazi, and YDA DHQ President Dr Shahid Fida said that the proposed new medical teaching institute law was unacceptable to them and demanded that it should be withdrawn.
