Forty-year-old Jameel, a resident of Moza Ojla Khurd, had come to Pakistan from Germany to attend the wedding of his relative.
His slaughtered body was found in his room and torture marks were also visible on the corpse.
Police said Jameel was scheduled to leave for Germany after three days and therefore sold his car for which he received cash. He added that the victim had two wives; one of whom lives in Germany and the other in Wazirabad. He maintained Jameel had three daughters from his first wife.
The official revealed that the deceased had allegedly murdered his uncle Iqbal a few years ago. He added the police arrested the victim’s nephew Yasir over suspicion of the murder. He said the real motive behind the murder would be revealed after investigations.
