ATC reserves verdict in Naqeebullah murder case

KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court reserved its verdict on Monday on the plea pertaining to clubbing the murder cases of Naqeebullah Mehsud and four others, Sabir, Nazar Jan and Ishaq.

Former Malir SSP Rao Anwar, former DSP Qamar Ahmed Shaikh and other accused appeared before the court. The parties completed their arguments on Naqeebullah's father's plea to club the cases. On completion of arguments, the court reserved the verdict.

The complaint of murder and abduction against accused is registered at Sachal Police Station and cases citing Weapons Act and possession of explosive material are registered at Shah Latif PS.

The absconders in the case include sub-inspector Amanullah Marwat, ASI Gada Hussain, head constable Mohsin Abbas, sub-inspector Sheikh Muhammad Shoaib alias Shoaib shooter, head constable Sadaqat Hussain Shah, police personnel Raja Shams Mukhtar and Rana Riaz Ahmed.
