RCCI backs run for Pakistan marathon
"Run for Naya Pakistan" will be held on March 24 in Islamabad
RAWALPINDI:
The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) would help in organising and promoting marathon race "Run for Naya Pakistan" on March 24 in the federal capital.
Talking to Director Marathon Race Event Brigadier (Retd) Tariq Zaman, RCCI President Malik Saleem Shahid said that the chamber always played a vital role for promoting healthy activities and recently had organised an inter-club T-20 cricket tournament. On the occasion, Tariq Zaman lauded the role of business community for promoting sports activities in the garrison city besides boosting trade.
RCCI launches ‘My Rawapindi Clean Drive’
He said that holding of such events would present a positive image of the country abroad that would ultimately boost the tourism in Pakistan. Tariq said that a registration desk would be set up at chamber office for the contenders of Marathon race.
He also presented a Marathon race slogan cap to the RCCI president and thanked him for cooperation in this regard.
