CS, NAB DG pay surprise visit to Sandeman Hospital

Both officials examine sanitary conditions and working of the hospital

ISLAMABAD:
Balochistan Chief Secretary (CS) Dr Nazir Akhtar along with National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan Director General on Thursday paid a surprise visit to Sandmen Hospital Quetta and inspected facilities of treatments being provided to the patients.

Both officials visited the trauma centre and other sections of the Sandmen Hospital to examine sanitary conditions and working of the hospital, said press release here.

Akhtar and the NAB DG were accompanied by provincial Health Secretary Hafiz Abdul Majid and other officials. Trauma Centre Additional Director Dr Zubair and Diagnostic Medical Sonography of Sandmen Hospital Dr Javed were also present.


Sandman Hospital medical superintendent (MS) briefed the chief secretary and NAB DG about the provision of amenities to patients and other requirements of the hospital.

The chief secretary and NAB DG assured the MS that they would address the trauma centre’s issues and other necessary problems of the hospital for ensuring quality medical aid to poor patients.

Akhtar also directed the relevant authority to take measures immediately for solving the problems of the hospital.
