The will of the people (II)

Aziz Akhmad June 06, 2010

NEW YORK: The editorial ‘The will of the people and the constitution’ is well-argued. I am surprised at the remarks given that they would be obvious even to someone not well-versed with the law. The will of the people is always determined by politicians, through votes, and is expressed in the form of constitution, laws, acts of parliament and so on. Besides, don’t judges have ample opportunity to write their opinions and dissents when the case concludes?
