The Rawalpindi District Administration has re-launched its anti-encroachment operation in all tehsils of the district.
According to a district administration spokesman, following directives from Rawalpindi Deputy Commissioner Chaudhary Ali Randhawa, the anti-encroachment teams of the city have removed 82 encroachments.
Of these, the Rawalpindi Municipal Corporation (RMC) removed 67 encroachments from Shamsabad Park, Sixth Road, Sadiqabad and Ghaznavi Market areas to clear the roads there.
Moreover, the Kahuta Municipal Corporation had removed eight encroachments along the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Road and the main Kahuta Bazar areas.
