Football: Torres not sorry for Chelsea move
He scored just one goal in 18 games as Chelsea saw their title challenge fade away.
LONDON:
Fernando Torres insists he does not regret joining Chelsea despite admitting he endured his worst season in the Premier League. “For me the past season was the worst since I arrived in England,” Torres told The Sun. “The injury I sustained at the end of the World Cup damaged my performance. But I’m not sorry I signed for Chelsea.” He scored just one goal in 18 games as Chelsea saw their title challenge fade away. Torres struggled to connect with fellow frontman Didier Drogba, but the Spaniard insists the pair can strike up a successful partnership.
