President cancels his visit to Quetta, Sibi
According to reports, the president is held up with commitments in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD:
President Dr Arif Alvi on Wednesday canceled his Quetta and Sibi visit because of his engagements in the federal capital.
The president was scheduled to attend the Sibi Festival as a chief guest today (Thursday), the concluding day of the fiesta, according to an official handout.
The president directed Balochistan governor to represent him in the event. This had been Dr Alvi’s second visit to the resource-rich province. On Nov 14, the president visited Quetta and assured the government of review of gas price for winter season.
