Dr Rizvi honoured by British association

Underlines the need for academic and professional cooperation

KARACHI: Dr Adibul Hassan Rizvi was awarded the honorary membership of the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) in a ceremony on Tuesday. Dr Rizvi, who is the director of Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation, is the first Pakistani to receive the membership. BAUS Designate Secretary Dr Asif Munir, who conferred the membership, recounted the services rendered by Rizvi during the past decade and complimented his vision, dedication and deep commitment towards mitigating the plight of patients. Dr Munir said that his vision needed to be emulated. Dr Rizvi underlined the need for academic and professional cooperation between the British medical institution and his own institute. He also complimented the British medical institution that played a great role in his professional training.
