Interior ministry on lookout for new CDA land director
After a number of complaints about the incumbent
ISLAMABAD:
The interior ministry is on the lookout for a new land director at the Capital Development Authority (CDA) after its complaints cell received a number of complaints about the incumbent.
Most of the complaints have been received regarding Tauqeer Nawaz Aiwan, a deputy director in CDA’s Land Directorate and a basic pay scale (BPS) grade-18 officer who has been given the additional charge of director, a BPS-19 position.
According to sources, the interior ministry is looking for an officer of good credibility on the post to ease the issues faced by the public and to resolve the complaints it has been receiving against the directorate.
In this regard, the interior ministry is expected to soon send a recommendation to CDA Chairman Amir Ali Ahmed for appointing a suitable officer on the post.
