LEAs arrest seven suspects in separate raids

The law enforcement agencies on Sunday arrested seven suspected criminals in separate raids in different districts of the province.

According to details, the Levies force conducted a raid in the Qilla Abdullah area, arrested two criminals, Muhammad Naseem and Muhammad Naeem, and recovered hashish, opium and a pistol from their possession.

The force was accompanied by district’s assistant commissioner.

In another operation, the police nabbed four people in a raid in Killi Rasool Bakhsh Sumalani area of Chagai district. According to police, they had snatched cash and valuables from a local shopkeeper a day ago. The suspects were shifted to Dalbandin Police Station.
In a separate operation in Winder, police foiled an attempt to smuggle 48-kilogramme of drugs and detained a suspect identified as Zafar Ali.

As per details, police officials were checking vehicles on Regional Cooperation for Development Highway in the Rana Butt area where they intercepted a vehicle. Upon checking, police uncovered drugs hidden in different compartments of the vehicle.

Cases have been lodged against the arrested suspects, while further investigation is under way.
