KARACHI: A local court granted interim bail to the accused in the case of attempted murder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA Ramzan Ghanchi. The accused, Ali Nawaz Soomro, who is the the vice-chairman of UC-16 and affiliated with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), was granted interim bail against a surety of Rs1 million. The court also directed Soomro to appear before the court on February 14. The accused appeared before the court after acquiring protection bail from the Sindh High Court.
