Encroachments: Local govt removes 32 structures

SIALKOT: The local government has removed over 32 structures in the Sialkot district during its anti-encroachment drive. During the ongoing clear up operation, the district administration and Sialkot tehsil municipal administration (TMA) authorities succeeded in removing  dozens of the encroached shops and sign boards along Railway Road, Kutchery Road, Naikapura, Rangpura and Hajipura localities. Several locals in the area protested against the operation and said that they had not received due warning regarding the anti-encroachment drive.
