‘Sindh needs water’
“A PPP leader injured Ghanchi after a fight last night. All Ghanchi wants is water for the people of his constituency in Karachi. The water board should have taken a decision about the distribution of water in the city,” said PTI leader Firdous Shamim Naqvi.
According to Naqvi, the PPP worker who opened fire at Ghanchi was not arrested.
He said, “It is the eleventh year of the Sindh government and Karachi is still deprived of water.”
“We are ready to cooperate with the provincial government but a water emergency should be declared in Karachi,” said the PTI leader.
Commenting on the state of development works in the port city, Naqvi said, “Sindh government get a share in the budget from the centre for development works but one cannot see any such projects in Karachi.”
