Sahiwal tragedy: New video highlighting brutality of CTD officials surfaces
Video shows CTD officials opening fire at the victims' car while no retaliatory fire was witnessed
A new video has surfaced highlighting the brutality with which the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) carried out their alleged encounter on a highway in the Qadirabad area of Sahiwal district.
In the video filmed by a man sitting in a car at a distance from the crime scene, CTD officials can clearly be seen hitting and stopping the victims' car. The CTD officials are then seen taking the children out of the car shortly after which shots were fired directly at the vehicle. However, no retaliatory fire was witnessed from the victims’ side.
Shady encounter leaves three of a family dead
The video shows that the CTD officials did not recover any weapon or explosives from the car and no fires were shot at the officials by a motorcyclist.
The CTD officials shifted the children to a government vehicle and took them along.
The Counter Terrorism Department, on Saturday, claimed to have carried out an intelligence-based operation which led to the death of three people of the same family.
The officials had also claimed that the victims shot fire at the CTD team and weapons were recovered from their vehicle.
