Five possible swine flu cases surface in Islamabad
Pims receives one confirmed, four suspected swine flu patients
ISLAMABAD:
The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) on Saturday said that it had received one confirmed swine flu (H1N1) patient and four suspected patients.
According to Pims Spokesman Dr Waseem Khawaja, samples from 34-year old Asma Faisal were tested and it was confirmed that she was infected with swine flu.

He added that the patient hailed from Abbottabad and had been undergoing treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU) of the hospital.
Faisal, he said, had been admitted to Pims four days ago with complaints of fever, intense flu and breathing problems.
