Education Secretary says provincial government seriously working to grant high status to teachers

QUETTA: Education Secretary Tayyab Lehri has said the provincial government is seriously working to grant high status to teachers, adding measures are being taken for betterment of education department.

Addressing the divisional directors and EDOs Conference on Sunday, the secretary said the CM and his adviser have been taking serious steps for betterment of education department. He vowed to take no compromise on quality of education in Balochistan.

“Steps are being taken to re-open all closed schools while progress is under way for reforms in schools established in religious seminaries,” Lehri said and stressed the need for timely transfer of educational course for 2019.

On Green Pakistan initiative, he directed all the DDOs and EDOs to engage their staff for plantation of new trees.

Expressing resentment over incomplete data of some districts, Lehri directed the authorities to submit the report in three days.
