Mosquito app launched

Mosquitos Alert Pakistan will provide accurate information about different species of mosquito

ISLAMABAD: In a bid to counter vector-borne diseases, the National Institute of Health (NIH) has launched a mobile application called 'Mosquitos Alert Pakistan' to provide accurate information about the different species of mosquito.

The app can be downloaded onto any smartphone and will provide users with a guideline to take a picture of the mosquito in their area and upload it to the NIH along with other required information.
