Pending cases: SHC CJ summons report on Gorakh Hill Station

KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC), on Thursday, ordered National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials to complete their inquiry and submit a report regarding the development work and other expenses at Gorakh Hill Station within a month.

NAB officials informed the two-member bench, comprising Chief Justice Ahmed Ali Sheikh and Justice Umar Siyal, that Gorakh Hills Development Authority Chairman Rafeeq Jamali who is also an MNA, along with all other director-generals, has been summoned. The chief justice inquired about the statement recorded by Jamali, to which the investigation officer said that Jamali was summoned but he hadn't appeared yet. They requested a month's time to complete the inquiry.
