RCCI launches ‘My Rawapindi Clean Drive’

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) has initiated a programme titled ‘My Rawalpindi Clean Drive’ with the specific aim for keeping the city clean through plantation drive.

A five-member RCCI delegation met led by its President Malik Shahid Saleem said this during a meeting with Rawalpindi Commissioner Jodat Ayaz on Wednesday.

Saleem pointed out that last month RCCI achieved 50,000 saplings target and now a new target of planting 100,000 saplings for year 2019 is in the offing.

RCCI also organised awareness seminars and "Go Green" initiative to reduce pollution in the city andalso working on water conservation, he added.

Matters related to the RCCI Rawat Industrial Estate were also discussed at the meeting.
