LAHORE: Senior Punjab Minister Abdul Aleem Khan has said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) may constitute its government in the Sindh province soon as the party has set up its governments in other provinces.

Speaking to various delegations on Sunday, Aleem said the senior party leadership would make decision in this regard. He said the real faces of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have been revealed before the masses. All their efforts to hide the looted money have gone to waste.

“Those who were levelling allegations against others have now been caught. The PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif should celebrate that his ‘Ali Baba and Forty Thieves’ are going to meet their ultimate fate in the coming days,” he maintained.

The senior minister said looting of Sindh’s people must come to an end now. “No one can hide behind democracy or any other slogan,” he remarked. Aleem asked Sharif brothers to arrange ‘another barrack’ for PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari in the jail.

He expressed astonishment over the fact that rather than proving their innocence in courts, ‘Zardari and company’ were looking here and there and misleading the people about the real facts. The senior minister underlined that there was no chance of any kind of NRO as Prime Minister Imran Khan would not compromise on corruption.

Aleem said accountability was the slogan of the PTI. “The government will not spare any corrupt and will recover each and every penny,” he said.

“The pace to resolve public issues is satisfactory. The government will fulfill all its promises that were made during the electioneering. The PTI has already started holding intra-party meetings to craft its strategy to send the PPP-led Sindh government packing. The party is also contacting its allies to bring about a change in the Sindh government after Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah’s name appeared in the joint investigation team (JIT) report of mega money laundering and fake bank accounts case.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister Iftikhar Durrani has already advised the PPP that the party should consider replacing of Murad Ali Shah. He has underlined that the province needed a better chief executive.
