QUETTA: Provincial Minister for Revenue Mir Saleem Khosa has vowed to equip his department according to the modern-day needs by introducing computerised system for storage of record.

The minister who was assigned a new portfolio the other day was talking to a delegation led by Minthar Mangi on Wednesday. Khosa said the effectiveness of any department is directly linked to its performance. Government departments can be made result-oriented through cosmetic restructuring, he added.

He said: “We would take practical measures for the effectiveness of institutions”. He also said despite having meager resources the coalition government is determined to take province out of the ongoing crisis.

“The people have given us a chance for the service; we would leave no stone unturned for their service,” said Khosa. The revenue minister said the provincial government is determined to serve public irrespective of their party affiliations.

“We believe in the concept of serving indiscriminately”.

Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal is very keen to resolve public issues, he said, adding that the provincial government would take Balochistan out of the crisis and create an example.
