Karan Johar slams 'delusional actors' and their salary demands

This revelation comes after weeks of speculation. Takht features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anil Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Bhumi Pednekar alongside Ranveer and Vicky. It has been rumoured that Kareena will be playing Dara Shikoh and Aurangzeb’s sister, Jahanara while Anil will be playing their father Shah Jahan. Alia will reportedly be playing Dara Shikoh’s wife and Bhumi, Aurangzeb’s. Janhvi, meanwhile, will be a slave girl, according to sources.

Karan has previously described the upcoming film as “the K3G of the Mughal era." He went on to share that it’s more extreme though as there is a lot of betrayal. "It has the tropes of court politics. It’s so rich in texture.”
