Kamal pays tribute to Quaid-e-Azam
Wishes Christian community on Christmas
QUETTA:
Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal has said the basic principles of unity, faith and discipline envisaged by Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah can serve as building blocks for the formation of any long-lasting state.
“We can contend with the challenges of today’s Pakistan only through promoting unity in our ranks,” he said in his message on the eve of the birthday of Quaid-i-Azam.
Kamal said: “The traditional enemy of Pakistan has started hatching conspiracies against the motherland. However, we are determined to foil their conspiracies through national solidarity”.
Our ancestors rendered sacrifices for achieving this motherland; the people of Balochistan would not let these sacrifices to be squandered, he added.
He said the father of the nation had great reverence for the people of Balochsitan. Thereby, soon after the emergence of Pakistan as an independent state, Jinnah visited Balochistan, he added.

The integration of Balochistan into Pakistan was his overwhelming desire, he said, adding that after the series of meetings with the rulers of independent states of Balochsitan, it was merged into Pakistan through their consent.
He also said Jinnah’s spending his last moments of life in Ziyarat is evidence of his limitless love for the people of Balochsitan. Kamal said “we should vow today to put our racial and political differences on one side and unite for a democratic Pakistan”.
Christmas message
In another message on the eve of Christmas, the CM expressed well wishes for the Christian community in the province.
In order to bring peace and prosperity through the world and rooting out terrorism globally, “we should resort to the message of Hazart Essa (PBUH)”.
Kamal lauded the role of Christian community in the development of the country. The government is using available resources for the protection of the community, he added.
The CM said special quota has been reserved for minorities in government jobs. There is complete freedom of faith in Balochistan and Christian community is fulfilling their religious duties freely throughout the country, he added.
He urged the community to offer special prayers for the sustainability of the country on the day of Christmas.
