Therefore, it says, the impression of lower utilisation of assets by the company is not correct. Apart from this, SNGPL says, the unaccounted-for-gas (UFG) level of the company is determined by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) annually.
According to the last Ogra determination, the company’s UFG for financial year 2016-17 was 8.07% whereas the UFG level for 2017-18 is yet to be finalised by the regulator. SNGPL terms the quoted 11.8% UFG level incorrect.
