MQM-L workers given to police custody

KARACHI: The administrative judge of anti-terrorism courts gave Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM-L) South Africa network’s two accused, Mustaqeem and Muqeem, to police custody for six-day physical remand. The two accused were presented before the administrative judge of ATCs in Sindh High Court. According to the investigation officer, a large quantity of explosive material was seized from the two accused. They had been hiding in different areas of Karachi since the raid on MQM’s head quarter, Nine-Zero in 2015. They were in constant contact with the MQM-L South Africa network. Accused Mustaqeem revealed that he had lived in India with Javed Langra after escaping in 1992. They were arrested by Rangers.
