Meteorology office predicts showers in the metropolis for Monday as well

Overcast weather in Karachi on Sunday brought the mercury down with the meteorology office predicting showers in the metropolis for Monday also. Different parts of the city are reported to have received light rain, with people taking to social media to share the videos.
According to the Met Office, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Quetta, Zhob, Kalat, Makran, Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu, Kohat, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Sargodha, Gujranwala Division, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan may receive scattered rain.

It has also forecast snowfall on mountains during the next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, doctors have advised precautionary measures with the on-set of cold weather brings with it many diseases. The change in weather has led to an increase in the number of patients suffering from allergies and viral infections. Specialists say that environmental pollution along with the change in weather as the reason for increase in allergy and viral infections. They have advised citizens to take precautionary measures as well as medication.
