Nadra fire: Data, valuable equipment destroyed
Rescue 1122 team rushed to the scene managed to extinguish the fire after two hours of hectic efforts.

Property and valuable documents and equipment worth millions of rupees were destroyed after a fire broke out at National Database Registration Authority (Nadra) Regional Headquarters office in Phase-V Hayatabad. A press release issued by Rescue 1122 here on Thursday said that a Rescue 1122 team rushed to the scene managed to extinguish the fire after two hours of hectic efforts. Rescue 1122 said the fire broke out due to a short circuit and equipment including Nadra’s server computer, laptops, LCDs, ACs and much of K-P’s data recovered was also destroyed. Rescue sources said furniture and documents were reduced to ashes and nearby vehicles were completely destroyed. No loss of life was reported in the incident.
