Energy Efficency: Deal signed to promote conservation

The agreement was signed in a meeting held at the Main Office of SME Leasing Limited in Karachi.

KARACHI: SME Leasing Limited, subsidiary of SME Bank Limited, and SME Business Support Fund recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding to facilitate cooperation between parties for encouraging and promoting energy efficiency and conservation programmes in Pakistan. Both parties have agreed to cooperate and facilitate each other for the development of SMEs in Pakistan by creating awareness and encouraging use of fuel efficient devices and equipment through agreed means, a press statement said on Thursday. The agreement was signed by SME Business Support Fund Chief Executive Officer Syed Saquib Mohyuddin and SME Leasing Limited CEO Arjumand A Qazi in a meeting held at the Main Office of SME Leasing Limited in Karachi.
