Hollywood superstar to highlight Pakistan's extreme climate vulnerability

Hollywood superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger on Monday vowed to visit Pakistan, according to a tweet by Prime Minister's Adviser for Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam.

Aslam spoke out by saying that the former governor of California had promised to travel to Pakistan and highlight the country’s extreme climate vulnerability.

Aslam is Pakistan's representative at the 24th Conference of the Parties (COP24) of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change taking place in Poland.


Schwarzenegger rose to fame starring in the "Terminator" movies and "Conan the Barbarian" among others.

He has also served as the governor of California from 2003 to 2o11.
