
He was speaking at the concluding session of the weeklong hands-on training on the latest tools for PhD scholar and technical staff at the university. The training organised by Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialisation was held at the New Senate Hall.
The vice chancellor said that declining research quality is a hindrance in fighting the challenge of the modern era and bring development and prosperity. He said that in China, every laboratory of the universities was coming up with new products, and patents. But unluckily, in Pakistan, we are lagging far behind in the field of research and products.
"We have to produce the skilled technicians and manpower. It is the power of the mind that an idea can change the world,” he said.
