PCB warns Mir over unauthorised interview

Women’s team captain demanded appointment of coaches.

LAHORE:

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued a warning to the women’s cricket team captain Sana Mir for violating the board’s rules.

Mir reportedly gave an unauthorised interview a few days ago, in which she had demanded the appointment of women coaches for the national team. The PCB, which awarded central contracts to women cricketers for the first time that bounds them to the board’s code of conduct, stated that it was taking disciplinary problems very seriously.

A PCB spokesman confirmed that Mir had given an interview without prior permission of the board, over which a warning had been issued while she has also been cautioned to be careful in the future.

The 25-year-old, who has played 40 One-Day Internationals (ODI) and led Pakistan to the Asian Games triumph last year, is the first woman cricketer to have been warned over discipline issues ever since the PCB introduced central contracts for the team last month.

This guy can not stand anyone who would bring happiness to Pakistan, and does his best to end his/her career. For one simple reason that he himself was a failed captain, failed coach, and now a failed manager.
