The government has sought to bolster the country's tourism industry with Pakistan ranking coming out on top as one of the friendliest countries in the world with mountain scenery that is beyond anyone’s wildest dreams, according to the British Backpacker Society.

Earlier on November 21, PM Imran emphasised on the importance of developing tourism in the country while signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for partial abolition of visa between Malaysia and Pakistan.
PM Imran said that Islamabad has huge untapped tourism resources, which it wants to develop on the pattern of Malaysia.
The cricketer-turned-politician added that the country was particularly interested in how Malaysia developed its tourism. “We have untapped tourism potential in Pakistan. We have tourism spots but no resorts.”
