Food for thought: These eateries are offering free food to those who vote today
They collected the hygienic surplus food from wedding Halls and restaurants of Islamabad, ran quality checks, packed it and then distributed it among the underprivileged Christian community.
EPI Chairman Ahsan Hamid Durrani stated, “Tons of food is dumped on a daily basis by large restaurants and wedding halls of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. There’s no mechanism in place that can reuse the hygienic surplus food and circulate it among the downtrodden communities of our society.”
