The Hindu community celebrated Diwali last week. While politicians and celebs wished fans love, prosperity and happiness, recognised fashion designer Deepak Perwani hosted a star-studded bash at his place for the occasion.

Stars such as Mahira Khan, Sonya Hussyn, Ayesha Omar, Tooba Siddiqui, Sarwat Gillani, Nomi Ansari, Feroze Khan, Wasim Akram and Shaniera Akram were present.

Celebrated journalist Fifi Haroon was also at the party and was delighted to meet Shaniera.

"Had loads of fun at Deepak Perwani's Diwali party last night. Met up with some old friends like Wasim Akram and finally got to meet the lovely Shaniera, who I've been Twitter friends with," she wrote.

To this, a user responded, "Nice but none of them representative of Pakistani culture."

Soon after, Shaniera slammed the troll and commented, “One of Pakistan’s biggest designers, a world renowned cricketer, a dedicated international journalist, a popular budding actor, an amazing PR woman. All Pakistani, all employed, all working for the betterment of our country at their capacity! Which Pakistan are you living in dude?”

And fans praised the activist's stance.
