ISLAMABAD:
The police have started compiling a list of people and groups who are involved in grabbing land or property of other people and occupying them for a long period.

According to a police source, an `Open Kutcehry' is scheduled to be held at the Koral police station on Wednesday, November 14, where Operations Senior Superintendent of Police will hear complaints of the public against land grabbers.

Those who are aggrieved can visit the station and Operations SSP will direct to immediately resolve their complaints.

The police source added that the exercise is being held following directions from the new Inspector General (IGP) of Islamabad Police Aamir Zulfiqar Khan to take action against land grabbers. A formal operation against such elements is also expected to be launched soon.
