Karo-kari: Woman shot dead by her cousin

The victim was working at her house when the accussed shot her and fled.

SUKKUR: A 22-year-old woman, Hajiyani, was gunned down by her cousin, Rab Nawaz Sundrani, under the pretext of karo-kari in Wali Mohammad Sundrani village in Jacobabad on Tuesday morning. The accused suspected that Hajiyani, Din Mohammad Sundrani’s daughter, had illicit relations with a man in the area. The victim was working at her house when Sundrani shot her and fled. The Saddar police sent the body to a hospital for an autopsy.
