SSP Pishin says police must change behaviour

'All necessary steps would be taken to maintain peace in Pishin'

QUETTA: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in Pishin Tariq Elahi Mastoi has said that the police must change its behaviour to win the people’s trust.

After taking charge of his office on Sunday, the SSP said the department would improve its working. All necessary steps would be taken to maintain peace in Pishin, he assured.

Mastoi told his officers to continue their duty of protecting the lives and properties of the citizens, and never to cave under pressure. He said honest officer and personnel would be promoted.

The newly-posted SSP said all available resources would be utilised for the welfare of police personnel and their families. He added that extra ambulances would be purchased for the police department, and all non-functional vehicles would be repaired.

Meanwhile, the SSP visited various police departments and paid homage to the martyred policemen.
