The accolades were presented by Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar during the silver jubilee ceremony of the Supreme Court Bar Association. Qazi has previously served the provincial government as its education minister and has authored six books on the subject of law. He has also served as the additional advocate general for Sindh and a judge at the Sindh High Court.
In 2013, the provincial government established Szabul, the first law university of the country and appointed Qazi as its vice-chancellor for five years. During his tenure, Qazi introduced and promoted the university at the national and international levels and successfully made arrangements for extraordinary fee waivers and exemptions from British Northampton University for around 2,000 students of Szabul.
